FRONTPAGE_NO_TRANSLATION_AVAILABLE New Extrusion Line Begins Production in Athlone A new multi-purpose extrusion line was unveiled by the company in late November ‘09. Kenny O’Brien, General Manager, commented that the line has been brought on stream mainly to increase the company’s flexibility in dealing with a variety of materials from the current product portfolio. In addition the line will offer improved capability in extruding other plastics, particularly ASA capped ABS sheet, but also PC/ABS alloys as well. The company intends to run engineering thermoplastics on the new line for the majority of the time but, if necessary, the line can switch to mainstream styrenic products to satisfy demand. |
